My love of moving and exercise started very young, at age two, when I started in my first dance class. I danced with Griffith Academy of Dance for 15 years, where I earned a scholarship for classical ballet. During high school, I attended The Greater Hartford Academy for the Performing Arts on scholarship, majoring in dance.  Dance was a priority in my life; however; I did still find time for athletics such as field hockey, basketball, softball, and down hill skiing. My love of skiing inspired me to go to college in Vermont, where I could develop my skills further. I had the time of my life skiing and snowboarding for two years in Vermont, while attending Johnson State College.  I finished my BA at Eastern Connecticut State University.  I realized the best way to have time to myself and feel less stressed was to make time to exercise.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages, children through seniors. I have had success working with clients looking to lose weight and tone up, as well skiers.  I also have experience working with special needs clients and cardiac patients. During warmer months, I also run a Boot Camp style group class.  I feel lucky everyday that I go to work to help people achieve their fitness goals.

I am an AFAA (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America) Certified Personal Trainer as well as certified in CPR, First Aid/AED Adult, Child and Infant.
